Dizzy, with her pedigree name after the Beatles' song, was born on 1st May 2010 and has been a sweetheart from the start. She adores everyone, whether with two legs or four, and goes around the field at home at top speed - hence her nickname, "Diz the Whiz".

At six and a half months and her second show, she won Reserve Best Utility Puppy of the Year in Northern Ireland, but didn't take it too seriously... (thanks to Joyce Crawford-Manton for the pic)... more pics on the show results page.

"Shall we dance?"

Details of her
key show results are on the show results page.

Dizzy won her first Green Star on 17th March 2011 - she was the only bitch on the day to be graded "excellent". This gave her the Celtic Winner AND Celtic Junior Winner titles.
Even better news - Banbridge Championship show 9th April she not only won her second Green Star but was Best of Breed, beating her daddy Taz, and fourth in the group! At Munster on 4th June she won her fifth Junior class with "excellent" making her a Junior Champion. At the Dun Laoghaire (Monkstown) show on 5th August 2012 she won her 7th Green Star, making her an Irish Champion. She has since added another two, but is only shown occasionally now.
Dizzy is not just a show dog though, on 16th April 2011 we went to the Irish Carriage Dog Trials where I ran her in the Instinct test which involves an assessment of whether she has the natural instinct to follow a carriage, and some basic obedience such as sit-stay. She passed with flying colours! Another certificate for the wall, and one proud mammy!
